Hi all,
Does anyone have any experience in using MacBook Pro purchased in the US in Europe with regard to power supply? Is it just a matter of using proper plug adapter on the original power supply plug, or the US power supply won't work in Europe anyway?

You just need an adapter... that is true for a PowerBook, I would expect the same to work for the MacBooks. I didn't had any problem using a 12" PowerBook when I was in Norway a few weeks ago.

It's fine. The PSU sorts itself out with anything between 100V and 250V. I bought my MBP in the US last week. I've changed the power lead for a standard figure-8 type and it's happy on UK mains. If it bothers you enough I'm pretty sure Apple will sell you the offical adaptor for the PSU.

Thanks for the answers. Looks like there should be no problem. I'll be travelling to the US in June and the prices of MBPs are significantly lower than in Europe, so I want to buy one when I'm over. Maybe I'll even find someone in education sector who would get one for me, which would bring the price down even more.
