17" 1GHz PB - Data Display Extension?

Long story short, I have a 17" 1GHz Powerbook laying around that I'm not using, so I figured I'd turn it into a carputer.

I'd like to use the original, 17" display so that I wouldn't have to shell out money for a second LCD when I have a perfectly good working one.

The only problem is that the actual computer would have to sit away from the display - and that would mean finding an extension to the Data Display Cable the PB uses to connect the display to the computer.

Does one exist? If so, any links or ideas would be very welcome.

I don't think one exists and you'd be better off selling it on eBay and buying something like a Mini for a carputer.
