Is the MBP's installer DVD buggy?

On my new MBP's installer disk I can't run Software Restore properly. I boot from the DVD, select Disk Utility from the menu and want to restore from partition a to partition b. Normally this is no problem, but with the DVD's Disk Utility app I can't drag partitions into the source and destination fields. Instead of dragging, I just select more disks. I can't get it to work properly. Has anybody else observed this bug? Is there any work-around?

Ah common. Can't somebody try it and confirm that it doesn't work? I just want to know that I'm not being stupid before I file the bug.
