when i give my macbook memorex DVD-R (blank or burned) she spins and spits it out.... apparently memorex puts some strange thing on their dvd-r s that my sweetie finds distasteful!

so anyway, which brands have your MBP's liked?

I have the same issue with my 2005 15" PB but only with Imation DVDs so far. Memorex seem to work OK. Verbatim source quality media, too.

Odd, Memorex DVD-Rs work in mine....

I've only used one but it didn't give me any grief - except that it was slow, but I attributed that to Toast in Rosetta.
