I purchased a reburished 12" G4 iBook today from MAC.Com, should receive it by the end of the week. I travel often and hate being away from my iMac at home, taking the iBook on the road will keep me connected.

A couple of questions on the ibook set-up;
I want to keep my Mac e-mail and accounts on the iBook the same as my home machine, will there be a problem with two machines having the same accounts?

What internet provider works best with MAC on the road? I will be using dial-up modem sometimes, I was thinking of using Netzero, What do you recommend?

Can I set-up iTunes to upload all the songs from my iPod?

Any suggestions on setting up the iBook to operate as close to my home machine?

Thanks
Rwulff

I don't think there would be a problem with your account being checked from different computers. I, however have not used .mac. I use web-based email so that I have no trouble checking my email from anywhere.

And moving your music from your ipod to your computer. Do do this you are going to have to us your ipod as an external drive to move the music. If you don't know how to do this, go to the apple website and click support and find your way to it. And what is MAC on the road? Is that some kind of ISP? And me, I use comcast high speed internet, and AirPort express. Its a nice setup because I don't travel very often and this ibook is my desktop replacment.
