hi

I have a beautiful indigo clamshell ibook

but it doesn't have a sound output - is there a USB device I can use to add a sound output

there is a circular port - but I think that's for connecting to a tv-screen

(also - would it be possible to change the cd-rom drive for a dvd-rom? - If I get hold of one - or wouldn't the machine except it?)

any ideas?

I also have a 'beautiful' indigo clamshell.

Upgrading old clamshells has become popular.
For info about upgrading, go to the Apple site:

http://discussions.apple.com/forum.jspa?forumID=927

And yes, the circular port is for audio/video. You need the special cable, as hookem2oo7 stated.

You can upgrade the drive if you like. Takes some effort. Follow the above link.
