Hey All

My trusty old Pismo has some new Airport problems. The signal keeps dropping in and out. If I move the screen to a certain angle, it is better. If I move it another way, there is no signal whatsoever.

If I sit very close to the base-station, it works ok.

I'm assuming the connection to the antenna is messed up, since the signal dros in and out completely. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Could be that the wires going thru the hinges are aging, messed up?

Anyway, easiest way to get wireless back is to use a wireless pmcia card. If you get one that uses a Broadcom chip, it'll be natively supported in Tiger, no extra drivers needed.
