Anyone who knows how to make the DVD drive on MBP (2.0) region free? There are some programs but I dont know if they really work. Would be great if there's also Freeware. Thank you

Depending on your needs, you might be able just to use VLC. Easier and safer than flashing your drive.

VLC can't ignore the region on newer drives like those in the MBP.

Now that you have boot camp, you should be able to use a frimware flash for the drive that runs on DOS. Try looking for it in any RPC1 website. Also they are a couple DVD region free programs in Win XP that can read any region without flashing the drive: i.e., DVDFab Platinum.
