Putting pressure on my iBook's case sometimes produces keyboard and trackpad errors that are very annoying and too frequent for my tastes. Is there any way to reduce this problem?

Putting pressure on your iBook shouldn't produce any error. Double check if the keyboard is properly plugged-in. If this is the case, go to an Apple store/dealer to have it fixed. Btw, what do you mean by "keyboard and trackpad error"?

Plugged in? I'm not talking about an external keyboard here. Perhaps you mean the internal connector? I guess that's easy enough to check by lifting up the keyboard and resetting the thingie at the end of the ribbon....

Well, annoying things like unbidden carriage returns, changes of windows, and other things that seem to be keyboard-triggered. I guess I could also troubleshoot the protective keyboard overlay that I use. This never happens when I use my Bluetooth keyboard, so the built-in keyboard would appear to be the source of the problem.
