I've got a Pbook G3 300 mhz (Wallstreet II) sitting in my living room, and wondering if there were any good OS X wireless options? Seeing as how it has no slot for an airport, whats a good (and cheap) wireless card to stick in the puppy?

Card slot wireless options? I found some online, but they're super expensive. Any generic ones work?

I'm using Belkin PC card 7010, v3000 on my Lombard. Got it for £15 here. You need to download a driver from Ralink for it (I think they cover OS10.1 through 10.4), their software is really good and it's stable.

if its got a PCI card slot you could try a Buffalo card. I use a WLI-CB-G54S on my Tibook and it works great. They have other models that work too, but they don't all say they are Mac compatible on the box - just make sure its a model with the Broadcom chipset and you should be fine.

Both those options sound really solid. Most of the laptops at my office use a Buffalo PCI card for wireless. Thanks a bunch. I would really like to turn this puppy into a wireless picture frame at some point in the near future. I'll see what I can find locally here in Fukuyama before ordering something.

Thanks a bunch.
