NOTE: this is NOT one of those stupid referral sites, it's an online donation site. I will only post this once.

Hi guys I started a site at [link removed --tooki]
because I've been wanting to switch to the Mac for a long time and give this PC to my brother who's moving to the Dominican Republic with my parents (I'm staying in the US for college).

However, being a college student, my part time job is barely enough for things like textbooks and day to day expenses.

I won't bore you with a bs sob story, but I promise that if you donate a dollar (or even less!) to my cause, I will donate 30% of my proceeds to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital. If you would rather donate to them directly, I provide the link to that as well (since I'm not entitled to anyone's generosity). If I end up missing money for the iBook, I'll pay for it with whatever scraps I get from a summer job this summer.

Anyway, I love Macs with a passion and all this while I've been nothing more than a mac groupie...please help my dream come true and donate!

I know you may think I'm a hippie loser but I'll heart you forever!

Thanks!

Do you imagine what this forum would look like if everyone was doing this kind of post? don't want to be rude, but if you need to buy an iBook, get a job...

Welcome anyway, I hope you'll enjoy your future Mac...

btw, in before the lock.

The point of banning referrals is to not have the members here harassed for money, effort, or anything else. This is scarcely better, though I can empathize with the budgetary limitations of being a college student.
