17-inch widescreen display
1680 x 1050 resolution
2.16GHz Intel Core Duo

1GB (single SODIMM) 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM
120GB 5400-rpm Serial ATA hard drive
8x double-layer SuperDrive
ATI Mobility Radeon X1600 with 256MB GDDR3 memory
One FireWire 400, one FireWire 800, and three USB 2.0 ports

Yay! So they kept Firewire 800 and there's a DL DVD burner so that's awesome. Exciting, but it's not like I'm buying one lol. Hurray for those of you that happy or have been waiting.

I case you wanted to know, the price is $2799

This looks more like a G5 station in performance, graphics...awesome, but it is still a huge and heavy laptop.

I wonder when will the 12 in intel be out. What most people must be looking for (at least myself) is performance in a portable size & weight. It seems that intel can bring that to the table in the 12 inch.

Let's see how the 12 in looks whwn it comes out.
