I am trying to copy material onto a dual-layer DVD on my 15in Powerbook using Tiger and Toast 7. The lappie takes in the dvd, but after much chugging and whirring, it spits it out again without doing anything. I have tried 3 blank discs with no luck.

Any suggestions, please?

Thanks!

Hi Steve,

The last 15in PowerBook before the Intel ones. It says in the 'help' that it is supported. But they wouldn't write that just for the operating system, would they?

In system profiler it mentions +R but not dual layer specifically.

Thanks

If your superdrive supports dual-layer burning, then your system profiler (disc burning) will show: -R, -RW, +R, +RW, +R DL
I gotta have more cowbell.
