I had my battery replaced while mine was being fixed for the display buzz. I would get to somewhere around 50% power and the computer would just shut off without warning. Seems fine now with the new battery. For reference my MacBook Pro serial number starts with W8607.

Luckily, it only seems to affect the first two weeks of MBPs. I wouldn't expect battery problems, but hey Rev. A, right?

This happened to my first battery. I too got one of the first computers. It would drop significantly, even when off, than randomly shut off at 35% often.

They replaced mine last weekend. It worked fine for almost 2 months then just started flipping out incessantly.
