Hi all,

I accidentally drop my PB (12, 1GHZ) at work and it's dead now, I still have applecare warranty till this november. Will they fix it or even replace? I never use the warranty and this will be my first time. Anyone with same experience with me? how they handle your problems? thanks and I appreciate all infos.

Applecare does not cover accidental damage, only defects and component failure from normal wear and tear.

call them
get a box
send it in

they'll either fix it or they'll tell you the damage was obviously due to accidental damage and give you a price quote to fix it

just don't tell them more than they need to know and theres a chance they may fix it, although a long shot
