Hi,

After I upgraded my Macbook Pro to 10.4.6 (and the firmware) my Lacie external drive only mounts via firewire and not USB. Before the upgrade it worked fine via USB. I have an imac and that one still works fine after 10.4.6 both using USB and firewire.

Has this happened to anyone else?
I went to the genius bar and of course it mounted their external USB drive, which happened to be a LaCie and the genius (who admitted he was not quite 100% genius) had not heard about this before.

Also after 10.4.6 and firmware 1.0.1 I can no longer connect to my Dlink wireless router, only the Airport express.

Has this happened to anyone else and could you fix it?'
I really dont want to reinstall the OS unless absolutely necessary.

Besides the heat I love my Macbook Pro!

If you restart the computer, it will recognize the drive via usb. That same thing occured to me at a Genius Bar, and he recommended a restart.

Already tried that without any success.

Today I can not log onto any base station with WEP encryption...
