I currently have 768 MB of RAM installed on my PB 1 GHz and am thinking about upgrading it to 1.5 GB.

The thing is, I'm not sure if this is going to be a considerable performance boost (in PS, Illustrator and InDesign) and I can't transfer the RAM to a MacBook Pro, which I'm planning on buying next year.

Anybody have first hand experience with this kind of thing? I'm basically trying to figure out wether the upgrade is worth ~120,– €.

If I change my way of living, and if I pave my streets with good times, will the mountain keep on giving…
