With the release of the MacBook today, the lines between professional and consumer machines have blurred a bit since the features match rather well aside from the integrated vs. ATI graphics. Maybe a mod can chime in here: should the MacBook be discussed here or in the iBook forum? It's not entirely clear, and both forums are getting posts on the new machines.
