What kind of chairs does everyone have? I am looking to buy a new one because the one I have is not very comfortable. Looking to spend around $100-$200.

Do you mean the Herman Miller Aeron chair?
They are quite expensive - but there is a more affordable model which is as aesthetically pleasing as the big $$$ one.

I snagged mine for 600 on Craigslist, the fully adjustable model. It's really nice, but I need a new backrest for it. That and it's destroying my floor (nothing but plaster... college apartment).

Very nice! I'm thinking about getting an EyeTV to hook up to TWC and my GameCube... I'm addicted to Need for Speed Underground 2.

I would have liked an EyeTV device too, as the TVMini is really nice to use. However, I wasn't going to spend an extra £70 (EyeTV Hybrid) - £115 (EyeTV 250) just to play Gamecube games; the console itself only cost me £40, so £24 is already a lot in comparison.

not really my setup, but my new hottness and my old not as hotness.
I was going to buy a Core Duo BlackBook for $1199, but for $200 more (with edu discount) I think the C2D was a pretty good deal.
So much faster than the G4 800.

Ugly as sin?
I guess that is a matter of personal taste. It is on permanent display at the Museum of Modern Art, you know? Sorry, I couldn't resist - I work for Herman Miller!

No worries.
I love the chair ... as a matter of taste I don't like the way it looks. To be fair, I doubt I'd like much in the museum of modern art. :-)
But I wouldn't trade the chair for anything.
(Now if you can make one that works that well and looks good with a south asian decor ... :-)

You should be happy that that chair is specified for all the Hilton Garden Inn Hotels..... LOTs of chairs keep you employed!

How did you hook up the DX4 monitors to your MBP? I'm thinking of getting them for my PowerBook G4. Does the included RCA-to-mini jack plug right into the headphone port on the laptop?

thanks very much,
the speakers are panasonic and they are connected to my hifi (under the desk). i then have phono cables running into an aiport express. thats how they play my itunes. im looking for some speakers to plug into my macbook so that i can play things like dvd's with a bit of volume.
the kasabian cd's are displayed using a thing i won off ebay. if you want ill pm you the sellers id. they were only £5 ($9-10). they are quite annoying the set up, but well worth it in the long run.
the other cd holder is from my local argos - unfortunatly i dont have a model code or anything.

This is half my room. I am getting a macbook (already ordered). I am getting rid of my pc, and mounting my powerbook under my desk because the screen is kinda messed up. Should be pretty nice when all set up, but this is my setup for now...
Albook 1.5ghz
AMD athlon 2500+ PC
Samsung 940MW (widescreen + tv tuner + component in + HD) mounted on an LCD arm for more desk space.
4 Gig ipod black nano
Logitech Z5500
Logitech MX3000
External 120 gig hd
Lots of ikea stuff.

Ok, here's my set up just after I recieved my new 2.33 C2D Macbook Pro. In the picture is the Macbook Pro, a 20" ACD, a 1.25 G4 iMac and some Harman Kardon Soundsticks. Hopefully once my wireless adapter comes I can move the iMac downstairs for my parents to use, as at the moment it's a little crowded upstairs.
Sorry about the poor quality, the photo was taken with my phone.

Nice setup.
I like way you set the wallpapers on all your devices to have the same look and color scheme, and arranged them according to device case color.
You inspired me to re-arrange my setup and finally cleanup my desk
