I would rather have a 17" MBP than a Maxed out Mac Pro.

Hey all...
First time poster, long time reader. Been meaning to get this up here for awhile, just now got the chance. MacBook 2 GHz Intel Core Duo, 80 GB HDD, 1 GB RAM, Apple Mighty Mouse, JBL Creature Speakers II.

I know its simple, not too fancy. But it works!

the backlit keyboard on the MBP is supersexy. Apple needs to make a matching external keyboard.

Thanks black_rain. I'm going to mount the monitor on the wall with a swivel arm to give some room on my desk.

ruf993turbo, why do you mirror your display? Seems kinda useless to me if you have the LCD of the MBP open at the same time like an inch away.

I bought my MacBook about a month before Christmas and just recently got the 20" Dell LCD. I weighed my options on whether I wanted to buy an Airport Extreme base station or the LCD, and decided I would get more satisfaction out of the LCD. It was worth every penny. The external is a 320GB Seagate.

MacBook Pro 15in C2D 2.16 w/2GB RAM, 23 in ACD, Apple Pro Keyboard, Microsoft Trackball Explorer, Logitech Z4 speakers.

Behind the ACD is LaCie FireWire CD-R drive and two Firewire harddrives.
