Kool, and BTW I can see that you are new so, Welcome to the forums. We are nice people here but with 5% marketshare and growing Mac users don't wanna see PC's trying to dominate our forums as we are not at all (in the worst way) welcome on Windows forums. When you get your new Mac you will understand our passion for the Mac OS.

I'm more of a lurker here than an active member, but I've had my CD MacBook since last June or July and after doing some cleaning up, I wanted to get in on this.
First, the TV and stereo, included because there's an iHome iH5 that serves as my alarm clock, plus I can move my iPod universal dock over to it to play a video on the TV (it's a 60GB 5G iPod). In the bottom left you can barely see my STM Evolution Backpack for the MB, also inside it is a maroon Incase neoprene sleeve (maroon.. go HOKIES).
Second, a wide shot of the desk. Underneath is my old WinXP gaming PC that I'm trying to get rid of... I want to get a MBP in a few months. I have a sight unseen Airport Extreme base station (802.11g) hooked to the cable modem, with the printer hooked to the AEBS.
Third, a close up. The slide-out drawer has an Apple bluetooth keyboard... which keyboard I use just depends on my mood. In the upper left of the screen are two copies of the album art widget... I hacked both of them. The one showing art will never show album info, and the one on the bottom will never show art, just the text. I like having an unobstructed view of the album art. But most of the time, for iTunes control, I use Sizzling Keys. The speakers are Klipsch ProMedia Ultra 2.0 (I was sick of having a huge subwoofer).
The monitor is a Dell 2001FP that does 1600x1200 and used to be used for the PC, but now is mainly used as a secondary TV (I have my DirecTV piped over to it via RCA cables, and can also pipe it's audio to the Klipsch speakers) when I'm either watching a DVD on the main TV or playing Wii/X360, so I can keep up with a game or something. I have the mini-DVI to DVI adapter but don't use it much.

Maybe he uses it connected to a TV with Frontrow. Sometimes I wish I could turn off the macbook's screen when it's connected to the TV.

you can- close it, wake it back up with the remote. only the external LCD is acknowledged, and thus graphic performance is greatly increased.
((I've had some problems with this since 10.4.9, however.))

Yup, Comic Life. I've never played with it before, but it was definitely fun (if a bit frustrating since I kept mis-clicking stuff. Y'know, 'cause it was 2 a.m. and all).

Does that work if it's just a normal TV, not some fancy-schmancy LCD?

Great pictures. I want one now! Does anyone know why I am able to view some pictures and others just come up as a blue box with a question mark inside?

I found then at Menards. They also came with a smaller, 3-light, desk sized version that's on the right corner of the desk out of the picture.
They double as space heaters in the winter.

That means that they have been removed from whatever server they were hosted on, so they can no longer be displayed.

FYI, Those aren't Klipse's setups above. One is ARENA's and the other one is coincopy's.

I was just thinking today how cool it would be to throw a black topcase on the whitebook... did you argue with applecare about excessive stainding? That was the strategy I came up with today...

Hehe. Mine do resemble the others, but they're actually just $50 Sony bookshelf speakers. They make really nice computer speakers though paired with my subwoofer.

My macbook died so I bought a new one (same spec) and swapped the HD. It's like using the same machine (cause it is!). Only difference is the core duo vs. the newer core 2 duo. Big deal.
