A black carpet is under my keyboard and mouse. Since the desk is glass and the optical mouse will not work, so hence the black carpet. I also employ a wrist rest.

If you are referring to the last picture in the series, I was merely showing the cable management.

AppleCare didn't take care of the Macbook that died? That seems strange that you had to by another.

Maybe he wanted C2D? ::shrug::

I'm itching for the Santa Rosa MBPs... it's taking a LOT of patience not to run out and buy a C2D 15.4" MBP right the hell now.

They have to be releasing a new case design for the Macbook Pro and when they do I'm upgrading to the current Gen Macbook Pro refurb baby. They will be so cheap.

Yep, it's definitely bright. I have the brightness on my 19" wide (on the left) set to 100%, and the large display is at 50%, and they're about the same. And it only cost me $200, so I'm quite happy with it!

This is my "blackbook" one of 2 identical ones. The other one is mobile and goes with me to work or out on the balcony. This one is in a wallunit in my bedroom.
