Hey Tar_heel, welcome to the forums.

Just a note that we do have a thread specifically for showing off nifty desktops. You might try posting your screenshot in here: The Offical OS X Customizations Screenshot Thread.

Cheers

Yeah, it's easily the best addition I've gotten so far for my MB. I originally got it because I noticed I started slouching to see the screen. Makes a big difference!

I got a new keyboard today. It's an older hacker style mechanical switch clicky model and I love it. It's a Cherry ML4100 industrial keyboard. Got it off Ebay on the cheep.

Looks nice by the window.

I have a growing addiction to old school keyboards. They are so much better than the crap they make today, and they don't have Windows keys or multimedia bells and whistles. I think they type better to.

Anyway, here is growing collection. Mind you, this started for me in the spring.

Check out my annotated pic on Flickr if you want to see what they are.

Mmmmm.... new Macbook Pro. I bought all these goodies for it almost two months before I ordered the computer. So much fun.

What do I have on my desk... I have a 17in VGA LCD I got for free when a coworker moved back to England. I have a Macbook Pro, 2.4 ghz. A Targus x-stand holding it up. An iSkin keyboard cover. A Gelskins sticker on the bag. Two 250 gig firewire HDs up above. A cheap speaker system I picked up. My Nokia N73. My logitech Bluetooth mouse. Quite a few storage containers full of random wires, hookups, cables, USB thingies, and rechargers. Plus a lots of little giant robots and domokuns.

I just got my MacBook Pro, and boy am I happy, I absolutely love it. My setup is kinda temporary before I return to school, so this is a quickly done home setup.

My MacBook Pro is 2.4GHz Santa Rosa 15" with stock setup. I am using a Dell E196FP 19" Monitor with it, which is nice :-)

Oh, and the lovely leopard background.

Yeah, up until today that's how I had it too. The stand really is a life-saver. I don't know why they don't just put the optical drive on the side for the Pro's...
