I've been waiting several months for the Macbooks to be released, so I jumped first thing this morning and ordered my new Black Macbook with 1GB RAM and 100GB HD. I also upgraded shipping to 2 day.

I placed the order probably 20 minutes after the store came back online, and checked my order status this evening:

Estimated Shipped By: May 26th, 2006
Estimated Delivery By: May 31st, 2006

This is what those of us that live in towns without an Apple store must endure every new product release . However, Omaha is FINALLY slated to get an Apple Store sometime this fall!

I ordered in the first hour after release, and then cancelled it to tweak the config and re-ordered 3 hours later.

Both times it said Estimated Shipped By: May 23rd, 2006. However, mine is a CTO white, not a BlacBook. Apple advertises longer Shipped By times for the BlacBook.
