macbook cpu - soldered or socketed?

does anyone know if the cpu is socketed or soldrered? My Intel iMac is socketed, so i can possibly upgrade it after the warranty runs out.

i know the macbook pro is soldered so no upgrading, but what about the macbook?

I think its soldered, don't ask where I got that info from, just remember reading it somewhere...

It is soldered. I saw the logic board on www.kodawarisan.com. As far as I know every laptop CPU is soldered.

I seem to remember some of the older PowerBooks (1400 series?) having the CPU on a daughtercard.
