Well, it's been nearly 2 months since i had my mbp, i love it love it love it, but found a physical flaw that has somewhat pushed me over the edge.

*The heat i deal with

*The whine i deal with

*Have noticable gaps on edges of lid (when closed), i deal with it

*The screw near the express slot i tightened so the trim gap was nearly closed, i deal with

I just realized how warped my mbp actually was. The speaker panel (yes, it's the top panel piece) where the express slot area is, is literally 1-2mm lifted and not flushed w/ the plastic trim around it. Pressing on it, you can see and feel it flex. I initially didn't notice this, but was feeling around my laptop for the Hell of it and found it.

Looking at it from a direct side view, it's SO obvious and ugly, ugh. /sigh. I'll take pix later.

What sort of turn around time am I looking it for a RMA? I use my mbp on a daily and constant basis

I had the heat, SMC firmware update fixed it.

I have the whine, SMC Firmware helped it (a great deal!)

I have noticable gaps on edges of lid when closed....(my MBP is never closed so I dont care)

BUT, my MBP is flush or even below the plastic. So while we have experienced many similar problems......all of which we can both deal with because the MBP is such a great computer, there are still some things that need a little tweeking.
