So, I had 768 RAM originally and I wanted to upgrade so I bought a 1GB RAM stick and replaced the 512RAM. When I go back to About My Mac, it says that I still have 768RAM. Anyone know how to fix this or make sure it's working?

Thanks

1. Please omit things like "Please Help" from thread titles. They don't add information, and don't increase the chances of your thread being read or answered.

2. It could be a bad module, or more likely is one of a slightly wrong type. Only half of a module being recognized is a symptom of a RAM module with an incompatible configuration.
