I have an interesting problem. I read about the infamous white marks on the Powerbook G4's display. I now have what appears to be smudges on my MacBook Pro's display. They are just below the center on the horizontal and are serpiginous in shape. They are grey and are most noticeable on light backgrounds. It is really annoying when scrolling through documents or watching a video with a scene with a light background. They don't change with the resolution of the display and they can't be cleaned of(I've tried with iKleer). Anybody else have this problem. I am sending mine in to Apple this week so we'll see if they fix it.

No solution, but you are definitely the winner for the best (and probably only on this forum) use of the word "serpiginous."
