I just received my Powerbook back from service today (keyboard replacement). For no real good reason, I ran the Apple Hardware Test for the first time ever.

The quick test yields an all-clear. The extended test halts on the logic board scan, and reports that it detected an error (2GMC/5/16: built-in). I Googled this error code with no result. Any ideas?

There are no apparent symptoms of a problem other than the test result.

You shouldn't care about its symptoms.

If there's a logic board error in the Hardware Test, that's it. Apple MUST replace it for you.

AppleCare FTW!

Yeah- I figured they would replace it. It's just such a hassle to get over there. I was going to take it back anyway though. The keyboard they installed is malfunctioning. The number row and function key row backlights don't seem to work, and those same rows appear to be uneven with the rest of the keyboard.

It's just so tough going five days at a time without my PB.
