After read all the posts here regarding MBP, I've decide myself to keep my trustee old 12 REV B PBG4 and I will move on to get iMac instead and maxed it out (2ghz/2GB/500GB/256MB Video) with less money. I know I will miss the portability but the thing is I still have my PB. Till Apple fix all the problems on their current pro line and release a smaller size (13") MBP, I will be looking forward on that.

All I can say is, don't hold your breath for the 13" MBP. You can read the tons of other threads dealing with the 'missing' 13" MBP, which I doubt we will ever see back again... Sad, but true.

Well, I'm not holding breath for the 13 MBP, that's why I'm keeping the PB and getting iMac instead. So far all the reviews on this forum of iMac intel are good.

Yes, there seems to be no real issues with the iMac, so I think that would be an excellent choice! Don't forget to post pics once you get it!

We won't see am 13" MBP, but I'm waiting for the next major revision of the current 15" MBP. Any idea when this will be?

At the moment, that's exactly what I have done. I decided to keep my 12" PowerBook and bought an iMac instead of a MBP. I like having a desktop that's always on to use as a music/video/file server, and I still have a very capable laptop in the PowerBook. I can't say I'm not tempted by the MacBook and MacBook Pro, but I don't feel an urgent need to get one just yet.
