Under the networking utilities in OS X it says 802.11a/b/g is supported on my MacBook. I think I read that somewhere before, but if OS X is not officially supporting 802.11a, how does it work exactly? Do all the config utils work fine for 802.11a?
Is anyone running their MacBook on an 802.11a network?
AFAIK, yes the macbook does support 'a', because the wireless card is basically the standard intel chipset. And no, Apple does not support it. I think it works seamlessly just like using a B or G network
