Hey guys,

Let me first say that this has been a very informative site for me the last few days as I've been enjoying my new MacBook as a new Mac user. I've just got a quick question about something I noticed with my dispaly this evening.

After installing BootCamp, I've only booted into Windows just the one time to install the drivers. Thought I'd play around a bit with Windows for a bit to see how the MacBook handled it and I noticed something at the black "loading XP" screen.

Along the very top of the display, about every 3/4 - 1 inch is an area that seems to not be completely black. It's like it alternates between a very dark grey, then black all along the top. After noticing this, I then went back into OS X and brought up Front Row (for the black background) and noticed it did it as well. However, it seems to be only when I have the dispaly tilted a certain way. I can usually position it to where I can't notice it. Is this normal? I checked my Dell widescreen 20" LCD display on my desktop, and it doesn't do this. Is this something specific to these glossy LCD's or laptop LCD's? My thought is that it was simply the backlight...what do you guys think? Do you notice this on your MacBook? Thanks for the input! Look forward to continuing to frequent these forums...
