does anybody know if a cd-rom drive can be installed in a PowerBook 5300ce?

It's been years since I've owned a 5300. But IIRC, there is no compartment inside the 5300/5300c/5300ce that's big enough to hold a CD-ROM drive.

It can take external readers via SCSI, though.
