if the ibook uses ddr2 ram, then it is possible. if it is only ddr, then it is not possible

the last revision of powerbooks used ddr2 ram.
Mac User since Summer 2005 (started with G4 mini bought from macnn forums!)

No, memory from any MacBook will not work in any iBook.

Only for the last PowerBook revision (with HD screen). Older PowerBooks do not use DDR2.

Addtionally those Powerbooks came with 512 MB of ram, as do most notebooks today. A 256 DIMM of DD2 is really almost worthless.
