Is there any way I can find the actual processor speed at any time while the computer is working. I know what the spec says, in my case 867, but I would like to know whether or not that speed is attained/maintained under load or indeed at all.
I have TiPB 867 OS X 10.4.6 1GB RAM AC power connected and Processor Performance set to Highest. I know that when I am on battery I can set the processor to Reduced peformance but what does that mean?
Sorry if I have missed the obvious.

I think the Titanium has only two speeds, hence on battery is probably running at half the full speed, that is more or less 433Mhz.
