hey,

ok dis is my first mac so i don't really know how dis works...when my macbook is plugged in2 the ac adapter, the battery doesn't charge to 100%, even when i start charging it from say 70%. the funny thing is when i unplug it, the battery says 100%! on plugging in again it goes back to 99%....something to be worried about?

I know that batteries don't charge fully everytime to preserve their charge and to extend their life, but they should charge all the way sometimes rite?

I just go by the green light on the power plug. Does it change to green for you? Some guys here told me that last 20% or so takes a lot longer to charge.

This is normal. You should see "Battery is charged" in the system menu with the little icon showing a plug in the menu bar. The display in % in not accurate and often displays 99% when it's fully charged. It happens on my iBook too. Nothing to worry about.

yeah it changed to 100% like 20 mins after i posted. guess it just takes really long to charge. but then it also lasts very long! hehe
