My brother is an over the road truck driver and wants a laptop to keep track of his loads, expenses, etc etc. I want to talk him into a Mac but I don't see any software for Macs that suits his need. Also will the Macbook hold up for over the road use and does anyone know of any software for truckers that works on the Mac?

or you can use boot camp and use XP with mac hardware.

if the macbook is as tough as the ibook (and reports are that it is easily as tough) then it is one of the rugged laptops on the market. bang for buck.

I'm not really familiar with what kind of software truckers would need. I take it there is some special Windows software he needs to use?

You could just use Excel to whip up a spreadsheet of lot lizard locations and prices...
