Kind of a weird question I know, but does anyone know what Apple's internal codename for the MacBook is/was?

Well, the iBook 14" was codenamed Son of Pismo so I guess it's something like:

Long lost illegitimate offspring of Pismo from an interracial marriage!

Failing that, I'd vote for Samuel L Jackson (black) and John Travolta (white).

But no one at Apple can tell us because, (a) Apple Legal would subpoena the ISP/blogger/anyone not friends with the EFF, and (b) if they were movie stars, it'd be Carl Sagan all over again.

Here is a list of most of the known codenames: http://www.applelinkage.com/codenames/index.html (Blackbird has already been used.)

Without looking at that link, I'm gonna say Blackbird was the 5300. Am I right?

Edit: Oh, snap. I lose. Interesting that Blackbird was used three times..
