I found the article on apple with instructions but my problem is a tad dofferent. the whole thing came out, it doesnt look broken but i can't simply snap it back on. The white plastic scissor as they call it is still attached the KEY not the key board!!

I can't seem to get it off the key to try and put it back on the board. Anyone know the trick?

yeah your gonna have to take the plastic scissor piece of the back of the key, and reinsert it on the keyboard. bottom first, then top. then the key will simply push back down on it. if you want to see exactly how it works, pop off another key (just the key, not the scissor part) that may make it easier to see how it goes on. it's easy to do.
