probably newb question, but how does my macbook update video graphics drivers? i'm a switcher, so i'm pretty used to going to the vendor's website (or a site like guru3d) to get the newest and hottest drivers. how does OS X handle updating it's video drivers? just through the regular software update?? thanks in advance.

first off, congratulations on joining the mac community. I switched almost 1 year ago, and i now realize how much more efficient macs are.

drivers have been through the regular software update, but with the switch to the intel processors and more "off the shelf" components, some people have found tweaks to fine tune the video card (at least with the ATI x1600 in the imac and the macbookpros). i'd say keep your eyes peeled, but for the most part, just use software update.
