I'm considering selling my ibook to upgrade to a macbook but o dont't know how to set up?
After back-up i think i should reinstall OS X, but i would like to give it like when we buy a new computer so who is buying could set-up.
What's the best way?

After installing OSX and rebooting into the setup just turn the system off. The next time it is booted, the setup will continue. The next user will be able to start from scratch.

You should boot from the OS X install CD, use the Disk Utility to erase your hard drive (using one of the secure options -- zero all data, 7-pass, 32-pass, or whatever), then install OS X. After the install, it will ask you to reboot. Do this and then turn the computer off as soon as it boots up (you will get the multi-language welcome screen). When the next person get it, upon booting they will get the multi-language welcome screen and can set up their account from there.

That's the way I'd do it...

Yeah - format it completly. You can turn it off when it boots like the above poster said. I also figure that most people that buy a used computer will reformat it as soon as it arrives, but it's possible I give people too much credit.
