I have a clean copy of Windows XP SP2 (from a CD image downloaded from MSDN subscription/site license). I installed Boot Camp and ran the assistant. The driver CD burned fine, and the partition went fine. When I boot from the install CD, Windows Setup starts and begins loading things. After a couple minutes on the "Initializing Hardware Abstraction Layer" step, I get an error saying "File \i386\halaacpi.dll could not be loaded. The error code is 32768". I've also seen error code 7 and 4. I've got the latest firmware installed and the latest copy of Boot Camp. I've now tried 2 copies of the XPSP2 CD just to be sure it wasn't a coaster failure. What else can I check or do to get this to install?

I have been running into similar problems installing XP Pro SP2 in Parallels on my MacBook. It would be curious to see if others are having similar issues. I had no problem installing on my MBP with Boot Camp though.
