I have two blue lines down the middle of my monitor. After searaching google i found discussions on this in the MacNN acrcives which said it was probably the connector on the monitor. My laptop has gotten a little banged up since aluminum is soft. I took this to the apple store early to ask about them fixing my screen latch because it's still under apple care and he said it dosen't matter they would make me pay because the dents. )-:

I had a dell before this and on several occasions dell repaired the computer dispite damage to the case. I want to get a Macbook Pro next spring, but i would like to know if anyone has any suggestions since applecare wont help.

Thank you

They really should fix the lines on the sreen, that is ridiculous. I would call Applecare instead, they are nicer on the phone.
