MacBook spitting out CDs?

I've got a new MacBook, the cheapest one. I'm new to Mac, and this particular one spits out 2 disks without completing their tasks.

One disk is World of Warcraft. New, straight from the box, and replaced with another new copy, same result. I can copy the files from the disk to the hard drive, but they won't run from there. When I try to run the install program from the disk, it crashes, and spits out the disk.

The other is just a new audio CD, with a visual scratch, but does not hinder it being played in other CD players. Won't even try to play it, just spits.

Anyone else seen the like?
