So, I recently replaced the HDD in my powerbook and everything seems to be going good except I notice that it is not running as fast as I remember when it was new....
Decide to check the memory on it and it only has 256....I wish I would have checked this before I bought the new hard drive but I am sure it was the drive as it would crash while doing installs or checking the disk in general.

Anyone else have the lower memory slot die, I did a search and found it was a pretty big issue.....is the logicboard the only way to fix this?

Thanks

I believe the logic board is the only way to fix that. Sorry.
