anyone here know how much a powerbook g4 hard drive is. i'm currently running a 1.5 ghz powerpc g4 with 80 gigs of hard drive space, and it's dying on me. i have a feeling it's gonna blow any moment. and if anyone does know, could i upgrade the storage capacity on it as well. basically, what kind of hard drive options are there, and how much would they cost?

any help will be appreciated...thanks in advanced boys and girls.

Any Parallel ATA/IDE 2.5" drive should work. I'd just look on Newegg.com. Or, more a more mac-oriented site, look on http://www.macsales.com. Common brands are Seagate, Hitachi, Toshiba, and Western Digital. A 100 GB drive should run you about $150. 120 GB could be somewhere around $175, and 160 GB would be well over $200.

Edit to add: taking apart a PowerBook by yourself is also kind of a complicate process. I know there are guides floating around out there. Hopefully someone more familiar with it than I can jump in with a link for you.
