Hi,

I'm thinking about picking up a Macbook. It's been a long time waiting for windows (XP) to dual boot on a mac, so I'm naturally excited.

However, how well does the following stuff run on a Macbook? Please state how much memory you have loaded up if you've tried any of these apps:

1) Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory (aka splinter cell 3)
2) I-DEAS engineering software (solid modeling and FEA components)
3) 3-d Studio Max
4) Mathcad

I doubt I'll be messing around with (2) or (3) that much, but it'd be nice too, but I expect that even on a powerbook, those apps probably won't work that well and will have to wait for a desktop version of the intel-powered mac.

Lastly...should I be waiting for a rev B machine? Any of you guys suffering from any showstoppers on the rev A macbooks (notably the black one)?
Now I know, and knowing is half the battle!
