hello

i just got my new macbook. its really a nice machine. does not whine or moo. but it has an really uneven backlight on the bootom of the screen. there are three darker areas in the middle. that looks really cheap. it is very present while booting. apple's desktop picture is hiding it a bit. but you'll see it on every bright website or document.

does anyone recognized that problem?

i just could send it back to apple during the first two weeks in europe. i would like to ask apple for a replacement. but i am afraif that they will send it in for three weeks and it comes back without repair. that happened with my fist aluminium powerbook with whitespots...

any suggestions for apple shop in germany?

greetings

bjoern

I have the same problem... but during day-to-day usage it is not noticeable enough for me to get a replacement.
