I am confused; always thought Macbooks did not burn double layer. But the CompUSA link here seems to indicate otherwise?

Especially the part that says:

"Create a DVD+R DL at a maximum Write speed that is not available from the manufacturer. "

Macbooks doesn't burn DL, CompUSA just listed it wrong. BTW, this is the PB/MBP forum.

The question has already been answered, but just to further applify that the 15" MBP can't burn DL either, but that the 17" MBP can.

thats one of the two things that hold me back from upgrading.
1. no fw 800
2. no dl superdrive

its because they decided to make it superthin
