my ibook g4 randomly came up with a sign one morning saying 'you must restart your computer.hold down the power button for several seconds or press the restart button.' i did as it asked and now everytime i turn on my computer it asks me again.... i have tried Apple.com/support but they didn't help me much.... any help on this matter would be much appreciated.... thanks, josh

Good ole Colonel Panic. Sounds like it could be a memory issue. Have you tried removing any additional memory you've installed? See if that allows you to boot.

If that doesn't work, call Apple Support or bring it into an Apple Store.

i spent 30mins on the phone to them today just for them to tell me my 90 days customer support has run out and i need to pay for help. im more than likely spending a couple of thousand pound on apple prodcts on or near after July 12th??? so theres not much point me paying for support now if i can just say the problem is on my new imac, using its 9o days??? Just not used to being without it......

Do you think if i tried deleting apps in the short time i have before the 'Kernal Panic Bollox' pops up it may possibly help???????
